Leonardo de Vinci once said “simplicity is the ultimate sophistication” and after all, people remember you not by what they’ve seen or heard but how you made them feel. I suppose I’ve always been a storyteller even dating back to high school as an avid photographer but it was in 2005 when I really dove into storytelling via video. Fast forward to now and the art is in some ways is much easier with DSLRs, YouTube and compression software. Even some of the greatest success stories on YouTube that has garnered million of views rests solely on the idea that simple is better. A videographer with a photographer’s eye, I craft stories that stylistically and creatively reflect those of simple conversations…. authentic, not overproduced and as straightforward as possible. It is far less about lengthy productions or three camera shoots with layer after layer of compositing on Final Cut Pro and After FX because life for the most part isn’t that. From business, product or personal profiles to digital content that support your personal or professional brand or even on location video support and quick mini-documentary executions, tell a story that’s simple, organic as well as engaging and you have the opportunity to formulate lifelong attachments on so many levels.
